With just a shift kit and shifting it by hand, you WILL burn up the transmission by not having it attached and properly adjusted. This info is just plain wrong. WebDec 5, 2024 · This is easy on a c4. If the bottom of the pan is pretty clean you can rebuild the valve body or replace it. I want to say the valve body is something like $50. As for books I use the ATSG service manual for the c4. It's basic and straight forward. Gman, i am going to adjust the bands this week.
